Jon Stewart's eight minute piece illustrating the populist talking point that is U.S. Presidents vowing to reduce our dependence on foreign oil is a must watch. If you can't view the embedded video below, then click and watch above, and laugh at the absurdity of the ceaseless rhetoric, which continued this week.
As Stewart says, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me eight times - am I a fucking idiot?"

KD; i dont know what you did... i hit the share button, copied embed code, pasted into the embed html side of the draft, and posted from there:

rjs - i know - i tried it 6 times. blogger wouldn't accept the code.. maybe i'll try again later. gave me some error, said a TD tag was bad, but i couldn't find what was wrong
i didnt get an error message this time, but when i do, i hit post anyway; you're then given an option to ignore errors...
i used the blogger draft for that post, but i usually use windows live writer (free)

it will often override blogger...
rjs - so weird - it still wouldn't work when i pasted it into the EDIT HTML side of the blogger screen, but worked when i pasted it into the COMPOSE side... anyway...
whatever it takes...
funny clip-
just shows how full of shit we are-
all this alternative fuel stuff is nonsense because it can't replace the cheap fuel that is oil-
reality- they will have to tax the shit out of it to make any other alternatives viable-
and that's not going to happen unless there is someone that can sell a vision that the American people buy into
