I'm up in Albany at "Mulch Camp," watching my father-in-law's mulch business while he's away. I went over to the massive Crossgates Mall today to wander around. The mall was virtually deserted - I saw people in only one store: Apple. I wandered in to play with the new Nano and Ipod Touch. There were nearly as many employees as customers, and I can't be sure that the customers were actually buying stuff, but it was the only store in the whole mall where customers were noticeable.

The Apple store is by *far* the businest store in the local mall near me as well, which otherwise seems generally not to be all that busy whenever I go there.
Dude, you should've called first! I was home sick today, and spent most of it catching up on your blog. It would've been easier if you'd just swung over to Colonie and explained that whole ETF Lesson thing in person. Not that you'd want to catch my kid-back-to-school-related illness.
Crossgates is normally deserted on a mid-week morning/early afternoon. But I would advise not going anywhere near there between Friday 4:00PM - Sunday 6:00PM. It's packed.
