God Street Wine in New York City

"Well we're drivin' into town, mom, but don't let it trouble ya - my girlfriend's drivin' and she'll stay straight.  We're all going in to see G-S-W, don't expect me home 'till late"
                                 - God Street Wine, "Wendy"

I'll be trekking down to NYC for the weekend to see one of my favorite defunct bands, God Street Wine, reunite for the 3rd and 4th of 4 charity reunion shows they are performing.

Good times imminent.

Interesting philosophical change from GSW - from their website:

"God Street Wine no longer seeks to make a profit from our recorded music. We have always allowed our audiences to record our live shows. Now we are engaged, with the help of our fans, in trying to make as much of our material available for free download and sharing as is legally possible. For those who wish to spend money on us, we ask that you download our music for free instead and save your money to make a donation to the charity of your choice.

We choose to support the efforts of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to support both research towards a cure for MS, and programs to address the needs of people living with MS today. Click Here to donate or learn more."

You gotta be the only farmer I know that goes nuts for pickles (pun intended) then jets off to Vegas, Boston (area), and NYC for various activities. Have a great time.
