The "Recovery"

From the Associated Press:

"My best guess is we will have a continued recovery, but it won't feel terrific," Bernanke said."

"Asked when the Fed will start raising interest rates, Bernanke quipped "in the future.""

If a recovery doesn't make people feel good, is it still a recovery?

I wonder if BB is trying to hold a middle ground, conceding that the Euros, Brits, etc. have commenced beggaring us, their noble neighbors to the west.

I see where helicopter Ben has been doing what Fed chairmen do best - goosing the stock market. Alas, that sort of stimulus wears off eventually - like a drug, the host (the market) will develop a resistance.
